The basic premise of the game is that the pitcher throws the ball and the batter hits it.
A strike is called if the ball passes through the strike zone or if the batter swings and misses.
Anything else will be a "ball".
When a batter gets four balls, they can advance to first base, and the batter wins.
Three strikes result in an out, and the pitcher wins.
After three outs, the teams switch sides.
If the ball hit by the batter flies into the foul line, it's considered "fair."
Anything else is a "foul" and the shot must be retaken.
