"Looking back on my first year as a pro, I felt that it became harder to get strikeouts with any of my pitches, something I was able to do in high school. I think I'm lacking in every aspect. The best thing about this year was that I was able to finish without injury. Next year, I want to pitch well in the first team and get my first win."
"It was a season where things didn't go well a lot. The only good thing was hitting my first home run. I wanted to make more of an impression with my batting. Kenshi Sugiya and Ryo Ishikawa, who are my seniors from high school, will be gone, but I want to show the Teikyo spirit in my own way."
