The Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters will begin accepting applications for the 5th "Diamond Brush" project from Thursday, June 29th.
The "Diamond Brush Project" is an initiative that utilizes donations from the "Fighters Fund" to repair and maintain youth baseball fields in Hokkaido, making them safer and more comfortable.
This project, which began in 2020, has supported the renovation of seven baseball fields up to its third phase. In the fourth phase, we are proceeding with the renovation of Nishioka Central Park Youth Baseball Field (Sapporo City) and Nakashibetsu Sports Park Baseball Field (Nakashibetsu Town) with the support of our project supplier, Kanatec Co., Ltd. We sincerely look forward to receiving applications from all over Hokkaido.

"With the impact of the coronavirus subsiding, last year we were able to gather children, parents, and other related parties to carry out repair work."
I feel that this project has returned to its original form, with everyone involved with the stadium cooperating to create a better environment.
I believe there are still many baseball stadiums in Hokkaido that are aging or in poor condition due to snow and natural disasters. Our aim is to improve these facilities and polish these future gems—that's the idea behind the project name, "Diamond Brush." We believe that creating an environment where players can play to their heart's content, alongside teaching the sport, is a crucial aspect of professional baseball's promotion and development. It would be wonderful if, after the repairs, these stadiums become symbolic places in the community. We look forward to receiving many applications."
