The Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters have decided to hold an exhibition game, "FIGHTERS LEGENDS GAME," on Sunday, November 22, 2026, at Escon Field HOKKAIDO, to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the team's championship win in the 2006 season and the 10th anniversary of the 2016 season. This exhibition will bring together former Fighters players from that era.

For this event, we will welcome Trey Hillman, the manager of the 2006 team, and Hideki Kuriyama, the manager of the 2016 team. A star-studded team will be assembled, mainly from players who were registered as active players during each season, and a dream matchup across generations will take place at Escon Field.
In addition, a press conference was held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, June 23rd, to announce the holding of this event.
We will be announcing the participating players and other details as they become available. Tickets will go on sale from 10:00 AM on Wednesday, June 24th, in order of official fan club "FAV" membership rank. Please come and enjoy this special day at Escon Field, where the memories of the legends who built the team's glorious history will intersect with those of the fans.

Comments from director Trey Hillman

I am deeply honored to be able to participate as a manager in this wonderful project, "FIGHTERS LEGENDS GAME," and I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the Fighters for offering me this opportunity.
Winning the national championship in Hokkaido in 2006 was a highlight of my life, and I still remember it often.
I'm so excited to be able to reunite with the players and fans with whom I shared that joy and emotion.
I'd like to simulate my strategies now to ensure it's a great game.
I'm really looking forward to meeting the world's best Fighters fans at Escon Field Hokkaido, the world's best ballpark!

Comments from manager Hideki Kuriyama

I myself am deeply grateful to be once again a part of the history that the Fighters have woven.
Just like that incredible battle in 2006 and the challenge in 2016, I think it's truly meaningful that we can all share once again the history we've built together with our fans, and then fight and support each other in this Legends Game.
I am absolutely certain that the players will deliver a fantastic performance.
Please look forward to it.

Player uniform

In this event, the participating legendary former players will compete wearing the home uniforms they wore "back when" they won the national championship. The nostalgic designs that evoke the joy of 2006 and the uniforms that graced the golden age of 2016 will be revived on the Escon Field stage.
