The "NAMICS Fresh All-Star Game 2026" was held on Monday, July 27th at Hard Off Eco Stadium Niigata in Niigata Prefecture. Three players from the Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters participated, and Edpolo Kane, who had two hits including a home run and four RBIs, was awarded the Most Valuable Player award.

Starting as the cleanup hitter and right fielder, Edopolo hit a go-ahead single to right field off pitcher Ibaraki (Hanshin) in his first at-bat in the first inning. In the bottom of the ninth inning with two outs and runners on first and second base, he hit a powerful drive over the center field wall, sealing the victory for the Pacific League All-Stars. Edopolo, who was awarded the Most Valuable Player award, said, "I came to Niigata to win the MVP award. It's the best! I'll do my best to be a valuable asset to the team in the second half of the season," leaving a strong statement about his aspirations for further success.
Pitcher Jiei Okawa, who held the opposing team scoreless for one inning, and Takumi Tsunetani, who started at second base and batted eighth, both seemed greatly inspired by the younger players of their generation. They vowed to use the experience gained at the Fresh All-Star Game, which is considered a stepping stone for young players, as fuel for their growth.
