The Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters have announced the 16 players who will be participating in the "NPB Junior Tournament KONAMI CUP 2026," which will be held from December 26th (Saturday). Academy coach Yuki Yoshida will be the manager, and the team aims for its second championship title since the 2011 tournament!

Congratulations to the 16 players selected for the Fighters Jr. team!
From now on, I will represent Hokkaido and fight as a member of the Fighters.
This year's theme is "Breaking Through Limits." Let's each surpass our past selves and grow together.
Players, parents, and team staff will all work together as one to aim for the top spot in Japan. Let's always be aware and responsible, and push our limits to achieve our goals.

This year's selection process attracted approximately 350 applications from fifth and sixth graders residing in Hokkaido.
The selection process consisted of four stages: the first stage (digital challenge), the second stage, the third stage, and the final stage.
In the second selection round, athletic ability measurements were conducted with the cooperation of "Arrows Lab Hokkaido," and in the third selection round, measurements using Rapsodo were also carried out with the cooperation of "Rapsodo Japan Co., Ltd."
Starting in August, the 26 players who are candidates for the main tournament began their activities and made a tremendous impression.
For approximately four months leading up to the "NPB Junior Tournament KONAMI CUP 2026," the team will work together as one to grow significantly, aiming for victory.
