In 2019, the Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters launched the "Diamond Brush" project to create a safe and comfortable environment for children in Hokkaido to play baseball. The project involves donating a portion of the construction costs from the Fighters Fund and working in collaboration with local governments, stadium management organizations, facility users, and local businesses to repair and improve youth baseball fields.

Recently 3rd period One of the target stadiums, Completion ceremony for Aibetsu Yamamura Baseball Stadium (Aibetsu Town, Kamikawa District) A ceremony was held to celebrate the completion of the project, attended by Kensuke Tanaka, Special Advisor (SA) of the Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters, children from the local Aibetsu Youth Baseball Team, the Youth Baseball Team Development Association, and representatives from sponsoring companies and organizations.

Upon arriving at Yamamura Square, Tanaka SA interacted with the children by holding an impromptu baseball clinic in the short time before the ceremony began. He answered the children's questions, demonstrating how to grip the ball and the tricks to swinging, using gestures. During the ceremony that followed, he also offered words of encouragement to the future professional baseball players, saying, "As a special advisor, I look forward to seeing you practice a lot at this stadium, excel, and play for the Fighters."

With this, the number of stadiums that have been repaired using the "Diamond Brush" method has reached seven in three phases, and the two stadiums in the fourth phaseare also currently under construction. Tanaka SA renewed his commitment, saying, "This is an activity I personally love. As the number of baseball players decreases, the facilities deteriorate, and the opportunities for children to play baseball are steadily decreasing. I don't want this to end here, but I want to keep going until the fifth, sixth, or even twentieth phase."
